The UD Philosophy Department is happy to assess courses you have taken, or plan to take, at other institutions to determine whether they can be transferred as specific PHIL courses.  Philosophy courses or courses similar to those offered in the UD Philosophy Department (for example, some religion or cognitive science courses) often qualify for such a transfer.

To establish whether there is a PHIL equivalent for a course, send e-mail to Professor Pust with the following materials:

  1. Your name, student ID number, the university or college where you took the course, the course number and name, and the number of credits you received for taking the course.
  2. The course description in its official catalogue and, if possible, a syllabus for the course.
