The Class of '55 Ethics Endowment Fund and the Department of Philosophy are hosting this philosophical debate between two renowned scholars, Travis Timmerman from Seton Hall University and James Taylor from The College of New Jersey.
Travis Timmerman is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Seton Hall University. He works in ethics and the philosophy of death. He is the author of many papers and the co-editor of Exploring the Philosophy of Death and Dying (Routledge, 2021).
James Taylor is a Professor of Philosophy at The College of New Jersey. He works in bioethics & social philosophy. He is the author of Practical Autonomy and Bioethics (Routledge, 2009), Death, Posthumous Harm, and Bioethics (Routledge, 2012), and Bloody Bioethics (Routledge, 2022).
