The following students graduated with either majors in philosophy or philosophy as part of a double or triple major:
Ajay Chakraborty – philosophy major
Harley Doolittle – philosophy and geography double major
Helen Hale-Mowry – philosophy and political science double major
Hugo Kedzlie – philosophy major
Jack Morrissey – philosophy major
Zabrina Mortarotti – philosophy and economics double major
Sunil Narayan – philosophy, computer science, and mathematics triple major
Raymond Peters – philosophy and criminal justice double major
Maxim Pronin – philosophy major
Helen Hale-Mowry received an honors degree, which recognizes 30 credits of Honors coursework in and outside the primary major and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4 at the time of graduation.
Raymond Peters received an Honors Degree with Distinction recognizes all the same requirements as the Honors Degree and includes the successful completion and defense of an Honors senior thesis.
Sunil Narayan received the Lucia Palmer Award as the senior student with the highest average in philosophy.
In addition to our graduates, the department congratulates rising senior Brandon Cangialosi who received the department’s Nicholas Freemont Plummer Award. This honor goes to the junior majoring in philosophy who, in the judgment of the department faculty, is an outstanding student as indicated by overall academic record, especially performance in philosophy, and who best embodies the spirit of philosophical inquiry.
